Sugar Bush: One of the strongest symbols associated with Canada is the maple leaf. One of the best known flavours that is associated with Canada is maple syrup. At this POD children will have a chance to learn the magical process of truing sap to syrup.

Dairy: Students will have an opportunity to recognize milk's role in healthy living by analyzing essential nutrients found in milk and their functions in maintaining a healthy body.  They will also learn how cow’s milk is processed into milk and other milk products for consumers and finish with a milking demonstration.

Country Corral An array of sheep pigs, and cows all brought together in one ring is sure to not only entertain but teach everyone how valuable animals are in our everyday lives.  From food, to clothing to nutrition, their importance will be brought to life, like only Cowboy Fred can do.

Eggs for energy: See live hens and hear how eggs travel from the farm to your table. Learn how eggs are graded for consumer safety and hear how eggs are produced locally. “Eggs, part of a healthy diet”

Reptile Zoo: Whether you are studying indigenous animals, endangered animals, mans impact on nature, or just a unit on reptiles and amphibians, Little Ray's educational presentation has been a hit in eastern Ontario and Western Quebec for over 10 years.

Horsing Around:  We will look at the therapeutic use of horses and why they play such an important role in today’s society.  Some of these benefits include improved balance, muscle strength, coordination, mobility, self esteem, confidence and social skills.

Canadian Raptor Conservancy The Canadian Raptor Conservancy performs live, Free-Flight Demonstrations that combines education with entertainment to teach students about raptors and their important role in nature.  Each demonstration includes an educational commentary that addresses each individual species and how they fit into their natural world. We will cover such topics as: the food chain, distribution, habitat, adaptations, hunting style and historical significance.
