Key Resonsibilities:
- Reports directly to the Community Services Representative.
- Provides reception relief.
- Performs numerous reception and customer services in the Grandstand lobby area.
- Performs administrative support tasks as assigned.
- Performs reception relief and customer service at the Administration reception area, Grandstand lobby and Sports Centre.
- Delivery of mail to the various areas such as raceway, food service, sports centre etc.
- Order taking/inventory requirements of the various offices to keep office supplies stocked in the various areas as mentioned above – including administration. All staff would be requested to place their order/request for office supplies the day prior.
- Delivery of office supplies etc. to various areas as noted above and pick of any mail that needs to be posted back at Clubhouse Admin.
- Responds to general information requests by customers and the public in person, by telephone or by email.
- Sale of tickets for various events on the grounds.
- Booking reservations for the Top of the Fair.
- Performs administrative support functions as assigned.
- May be required to record mass voicemails.
- Must comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Western Fair Association Health & Safety Policy and Awareness Program/Safety Manual, all Western Fair Association procedures and any other applicable legislation.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Grade 12 education and 6-12 months related work experience.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills.
- Knowledge of a multi-line phone system.
- Cash handling experience.
- Computer experience (various programs)
- Valid drivers license… may be required to do pick-up/deliveries off sight

Key Resonsibilities:
The Membership Coordinator represents the interests of the Western Fair Association in pursuing all membership initiatives. Position is responsible for the development and engagement of existing membership, as well as targeting, enlisting and engaging a number of new members monthly/annually. Responsible for the general administration and communication of membership initiatives in support of the membership program, which include: relevant membership meetings (Fair Board, Advisory Councils -TBD) database, website, event liaison, member orientation and training, all print materials associated with membership and assigned duties as required.
- Attracting new members that meet specific skill sets to compliment the organizations goals and objectives, as well as its mission.
- Orienting/training new and existing members.
- Educate members on their relationship to the organization.
- Explore member roles and find meaningful ways to engage them.
- Educate WFA staff on the importance of supporting and engaging membership.
- Processes new member applications and prepare recommended applications for board approval.
- Schedules meetings, prepares agendas, attends meetings, takes and produces minutes for all membership based committees. (Currently Fair Board, which may evolve into four Advisory Council Committees)
- Preparing correspondence/packages for existing/new members.
- Develop and implement a new membership database system that supports the communications and engagement objectives of the program.
- Responsible for creating and posting meaningful content to the dedicated membership web-site. Also communicates in-person, email, phone, letter as required.
- Creates and facilitates an annual event that recognizes membership, as well as coordination and planning of a variety of events and functions relating to Association matters (i.e.: Annual General Meeting, President’s luncheon, Social/ Business Events and Industry Related Events)
- Works in coordination with CEO and Corporate Affairs Manager on membership growth and retention by developing and executing annual plans/programs in the area of membership growth and retention.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- College or University degree in related discipline.
- 3-5 years related experience.
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize and work within deadlines, extended hours and matters of a confidential/sensitive nature.
- Exceptional interpersonal / interactive skills - often times initial contact with Membership and executive level organization and industry contacts.
- Comprehensive computer skills.

Key Resonsibilities:
- Reports directly to the Information Technology Manager and indirectly to the Corporate Communication Manager & Sales Manager.
- Responsible for planning, executing and maintaining all aspects of the Association's electronic marketing efforts
- Daily maintenance and management of the Association's website and databases
- Develop & foster marketing partnerships/opportunities on behalf of the Association
- On a daily basis, manage the following components of Social Media: research, strategy/planning, execution and analysis
- Ability to monitor and control website content using existing content management systems. Meet with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure needs are being met
- Maintain current and updated databases for all business units & departments
- Research, plan and make recommendations on third party electronic advertising
- Coordinate and maintain survey & e-balloting opportunities for the Association
- Make recommendations to Purchasing Manager on printing & promotional requirements
- Develop and execute at minimum, one monthly electronic communication to the Association’s customers (E-blast)
- Act as media liaison for on-site promotions with guidance from Corporate Affairs Manager
- Develop & foster marketing partnerships/opportunities on behalf of the Association

- Performs related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Post secondary degree or certificate in Marketing related field
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Experience using an installed content management system such as Wordpress or Drupal to update website content
- Basic knowledge of XHTML and CSS is an asset
- Experience in actively engaging with online communities such as Facebook or Twitter to build a following
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s license
