The 2nd annual London Auto Expo returns to the Western Fairgrounds, March 28-30 with more classics, more collectables and more chromed eye-candy for car enthusiasts!
This year’s show has expanded to cover more than 100,000 square feet. Organizer and Western Fair Association Senior Sales Manager Kris Dinel is pleased with the line-up of exhibitors and speakers. “We will have local vehicles as well as cars from Southwestern Ontario, Michigan, Ohio and Virginia, plus a few surprises that I think people are really going to enjoy.” |

For those eager to trade their snow shovel for golf clubs, the LONDON GOLF EXPO can’t come soon enough. Luckily, it’s this weekend. The 3-day LONDON GOLF EXPO will swing into the PROGRESS BUILDING, Western Fairgrounds this Friday through Sunday focusing on local retailers, pros and golf courses.

Western Fair Association announced today that they will host a 2-week Wheel ‘n Deal Casino, March 3-16, 2008. The casino will be located on the second floor, Grandstand and will feature Blackjack, Hold ‘em Poker and a money wheel.

The 70th Annual Western Fair Farm Show, located on the Western Fairgrounds, will run Wednesday, March 5, 2008 and Thursday, March 6, 2008 – 10am to 8:30pm, and Friday, March 7, 2008 – 10am to 4pm. Admission is $10.00 and children 12 and under are FREE, when accompanied by an adult.

Western Fair Association Marketing and Annual Fair Manager, Dave Taylor, has been elected to a 3-year term as a member of the Canadian Association of Fairs & Exhibitons (CAFE) Board of Directors. The announcement was made at the CAFE National Conference in Toronto November 17th.

Western Fair Association General Manager and CEO, Gary McRae, was awarded the Canadian Association of Fairs & Exhibitions' highest honour. The prestigious Roll of Honour was presented to him at the CAFE convention in Toronto on November 17th.

The Carousel Room hosted a meeting last night to review the newly approved governance structure of the Western Fair Association and announce the slate of candidates that would fill the positions on the new Board of Governors and Fair Directors. Elections took place and the Association is happy to announce to the public our new officers and members within the following governing bodies. |
