The second year of the hot, new, London Wine and Food Show
is about to hit the city with more wine, food, beer and spirits
than before with a fantastic line-up of chefs, wine experts,
cheese connoisseurs and show-floor surprises.
“We made a good impression last year, within the wine
and food industry and that shows, this year, in the new and
broadened exhibitor base,” says Western Fair Association,
Food and Beverage Manager, Barry Graves. The London
Wine and Food Show promises high-end wine and food, beer
and spirits, plus an eclectic mix of related exhibitors that
compliment this growing wine and food showcase. Expect
a scrumptious blend of all that interests the savvy wine
and food connoisseur or those that wish to be one.
Customers will have the chance to indulge themselves in
a whole host of fine wines and beverages, and observe a number
of delicious creations in the making by top chefs from the
area, as well as Food Network’s, Michael Smith. Jeff
Suddaby also joins us from the hit television show -Who’s
Coming for Dinner. A few of the area's most desirable
dining destinations will be featured, as well as numerous
local, provincial and imported brands of wines, beers and
spirits will be represented. A number of specialty
and gourmet booths will be on site as well. Guests
will be entertained and educated by live stage demonstrations
showcased in a designer kitchen area, and can take in tasting
sessions and seminars in our meetings rooms.
The London Wine and Food Show will take place in the PROGRESS
BUILDING at the Western Fairgrounds from January 19 - 21,
2007.

at Large on Food Network, who will entertain
audiences with cooking demonstrations on Saturday,
January 20, at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Jeff Suddaby,
Chef and Owner of 3 Guys and A Stove,
host of the successful cooking show Who’s
Coming For Dinner and author of a new cookbook
which shares the same name - as well as daily host
of his radio show From My Kitchen to Yours. Jeff
will be showcased on the Wine and Food stage, Friday,
January 19 at 6:00pm and Sunday, January 21 at 2:00
pm.

Billy Munnelly,
one of Canada’s most creative wine writers,
will be on-hand to deliver irreverent, light-hearted
and enlightening wine advice. Munnelly’s goal
is always to remove the confusion and intimidation
surrounding the wine selection process. Check
him out Sunday, January 21 at 1:30 pm.

Michael Pinkus’ enjoyment
and love of wine is fuelled by frequent trips through
Ontario's wine regions. Michael has visited each winery
at least once a year for the past 16 years to sample
their new offerings. He is determined that others
should enjoy the fabulous wines that Ontario has to

Christopher Waters,
Founding Editor of Vines Magazine will
be on hand Saturday, January 20 at 1:30 pm, in the
Tasting Room, discussing wine basics. An engaging
session with no nonsense tips for getting more pleasure
out of every sip of wine.

From food to fuel, biotechnology is guaranteeing a
greener future with increasing use of renewable resources. You
can eat corn, wear corn T-shirts and now convert it
into ethanol for fuel. Consumers
can experience how seeds are changing our world at
The Green Kitchen: Back to the Future exhibit
at this year’s London Wine and Food Show. Check

will offer three tasting seminars throughout the show.
Topics are: Intro to Wine, How To Taste Like a Pro,
(Friday, January 19 at 6:00pm; The Art of Pairing Wine
and Food, Saturday, January 20 at 5:30pm and Best Values
under $20, Sunday, January 21 at 3:30 pm. All
LCBO seminars take place in the Tasting Room.
