Family Fiesta Days warm up March Break!

Over 160,000 square feet of the new Western Fair AGRIPLEX will be home to the first annual FAMILY FIESTA DAYS this March 10, 11 & 12, 2006. Fiesta Days will heat up those early days of spring and add a little spice to the March Break for families looking for something different for the kids. Don’t worry about the weather, good or bad, it’s all INDOORS!

This year’s three-day celebration gives the entire family an opportunity to have fun, taste some fair food along with a few fiesta favourites while never worrying about whether March will be like a lion or a lamb. Speaking of lions and lambs, we won’t have any at our spring celebration but, if you need to corral the kids, captivate them with a ride on the ponies or take in Lean on Me Farmland full of all your favourite barnyard buddies. Mariachi music will fill the pavilion, with live performances each day and many rides will be available, geared for children and young families. The whole gang can enjoy a number of FREE shows; check out Craig the Amazing Juggler as well as the Wild West Rodeo demonstration, which will provide a sample of steer wrestling, roping, pick-up and barrel races as well as bull riding and calf scrambles. We wouldn’t want to forget DooDoo the Clown, who will be on hand, with shows daily, to entertain kids of all ages in the auditorium.

Take advantage of our advance ticket promotion or simply purchase your admission at the gate. Admission for kids 3 and under is free. Admission is $5.00 at the door, which does not include rides inside the pavilion. The advance pay-one-price is $15 per person or $20 per person at the door and includes admission and all the rides you and your family can handle.

Family Fiesta Days at the Western Fairgrounds is a great INDOOR event; a perfect way to take advantage of the March Break.
