The Western Fair Association will present $15,000 to Merrymount
Children’s Centre in aid of their “Reach for the
Rainbow” campaign. The campaign is focused on funding
the organization’s renovation plans. This donation will
help Merrymount create more space at their facilities and
reconfigure their existing lobby and upstairs residential
area.
Merrymount Children’s Centre provides residential care
for children and a wide range of integrated and comprehensive
programming for families in crisis. Western Fair believes
in the service Merrymount Children’s Centre provides
to our community. We support their efforts and hope that the
revitalization of their facilities will ensure that there
is always a loving and supportive agency like Merrymount Children’s
Centre within the London community.
These funds are donated from Western Fair’s Community
Enhancement Fund, established from a 1% collection of slot
machine revenue.
