identify and effectively communicate research needs and priorities
to effectively disseminate research results throughout the
industry to raise necessary monies to fund research projects
and maintain a viable poultry research community. to encourage
and facilitate industry access to other means of research
support to provide ongoing education/learning opportunities
to provide an interactive information database and resource
centre with reference/referral capabilities
Each November, the PIC organizes its annual Poultry Health
Conference. Geared to producers, processors and industry suppliers,
this conference brings together a wide range of experts in
their field to talk about various aspects of poultry health.
The PIC has published over 150 fact sheets on subjects of
importance for all aspects of the poultry industry.
