3on3 London is proud to announce a partnership with Pro-Tips Sports Corp. We will continue to offer a program where the basic skills of skating, passing and shooting learned from playing regular hockey can be applied in skill development format. The league has operated at the western fair for 4 years and grown to over 140 teams. This allows us to offer the recreational and competitive divisions at all ages; and our unique scheduling re-alignment during the season results in evenly matched contests. |
Why Play 3 on 3 Hockey?
- "At the professional level an average player touches the puck for a total of about 27 seconds per game. In minor hockey it would be somewhat less than 27 seconds."
- more playing time than most minor hockey games
- improve all skating, puckhandling, passing and shooting skills
- learn to read and react to play, learn to create open ice. "For the effective development of young people and not necessarily hockey players, the following must have consideration: "
- create opportunities within a learning environment based on fun and participation
- allow creativity, informal learning
(www.canadianhockey.ca)
- Keep the fun in playing hockey

2 Divisions
Skill Development Division - For elite players that are looking for more practice time and an environment to develop their skills; 3 on 3 gives them the time and space to enjoyably work on basic hockey skills. Qualified instructors from Pro-Tips will be used to assess each players' skills and offer feedback and advice to improve your game.
Recreational Division - We recognize the need to provide a fun hockey environment for those players that do not want the pressures of minor hockey. 40% of players quit hockey in their early teens due to the pressures of games and structure of practices. We provide an environment that allows them to continue to enjoy the game while developing skills.
